Feasibility Studies

Each project starts with a commercial and technical appraisal.

In order to avoid misinvestments feasibility studies are carried out if there are any doubts as to whether the project goals can be attained. These are primarily required to discover any discrepancies between the project goals and current perceptions

- negative feasibility result -

or to research and report on similar project goals which have already been attained

- positive feasibility result -.

The feasibility study is an extension of the feasibility examination which should generally be undertaken for each project. This consists of technical analyses, research, computer simulations and expert opinions.

Once the criteria have been defined the feasibility study offers in many cases solutions to problems or new possibilities for projects and supplies the base data for realistic risk management.
